520 000 travailleurs autonomes au Québec font vivre l'économie. Ils paient des impôts. Mais face à la maladie (comme le cancer), ils opèrent sans filet. Le programme d'AE fédéral est un labyrinthe inaccessible.
520,000 self-employed workers in Quebec sustain the economy. They pay taxes. But when faced with illness (like cancer), they operate without a net. The federal EI program is an inaccessible maze.
L'Aberration
Payer des impôts au même titre que tous, mais être traité comme un dommage collatéral. Un taux d'adoption de 2% pour un programme d'aide n'est pas une "erreur des citoyens". C'est l'incompétence de l'État.
Paying taxes like everyone else, but being treated as collateral damage. A 2% adoption rate for an aid program is not a "citizen error". It is state incompetence.

Aujourd'hui, je mets en pause toute communication commerciale. L'ingénierie financière sert à protéger le patrimoine des bâtisseurs, mais face à la défaillance totale de l'État, la froideur clinique doit faire place à la colère (8w7).
Ce matin, La Presse a publié l'histoire révoltante de Joannie Rainville, travailleuse autonome frappée par un cancer de stade 4 [SOURCE : LA PRESSE]. Son histoire n'est pas une anomalie. C'est la norme terrifiante pour 520 000 travailleurs autonomes au Québec.
Ces gens font tourner l'économie. Ils assument tous les risques. Ils paient leurs impôts, leurs taxes, et font vivre le système. Pourtant, quand la biologie lâche, ils réalisent qu'ils sont tombés dans les "craques" du plancher. Ils opèrent sans filet social.
Un taux d'adoption de 2% est un échec d'ingénierie.
Le gouvernement fédéral se défend en pointant vers son programme d'assurance-emploi pour les travailleurs autonomes. Regardons les chiffres avec la froideur d'un Architecte Système : seulement 2 % des indépendants y souscrivent.
Si je construis un système informatique pour une entreprise et que seulement 2 % des employés réussissent à l'utiliser, je suis congédiée sur-le-champ pour incompétence. Le système est un échec. Mais quand l'État construit un labyrinthe bureaucratique caché, complexe et mal adapté à la réalité des entrepreneurs, il blâme les citoyens pour leur "manque d'intérêt".
C'est une aberration mathématique et morale. Payer pour un filet social qui est conçu de manière à ce que vous ne puissiez jamais atterrir dedans est une insulte à l'intelligence des travailleurs de cette province.

Today, I am pausing all commercial communication. Financial engineering serves to protect the wealth of builders, but faced with the total failure of the State, clinical coldness must give way to anger (8w7).
This morning, La Presse published the revolting story of Joannie Rainville, a self-employed worker struck by stage 4 cancer [SOURCE: LA PRESSE]. Her story is not an anomaly. It is the terrifying norm for 520,000 self-employed workers in Quebec.
These people drive the economy. They take all the risks. They pay their taxes, their duties, and sustain the system. Yet, when biology fails, they realize they have fallen through the cracks of the floorboards. They operate without a social safety net.
A 2% adoption rate is an engineering failure.
The federal government defends itself by pointing to its employment insurance program for self-employed workers. Let's look at the numbers with the coldness of a Systems Architect: only 2% of independents subscribe to it.
If I build an IT system for a company and only 2% of the employees manage to use it, I am fired on the spot for incompetence. The system is a failure. But when the State builds a hidden, complex bureaucratic maze poorly adapted to the reality of entrepreneurs, it blames the citizens for their "lack of interest".
It is a mathematical and moral aberration. Paying for a social safety net that is designed so that you can never land in it is an insult to the intelligence of the workers of this province.
